Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By accessing or using UniSimpler, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. UniSimpler is an independent educational technology service.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. Users below the age of legal consent where they live need permission from a parent or guardian. Google sign-in is optional unless a feature specifically requires it. You are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping it secure. Do not share or impersonate another person's account.

4. Your material

You keep ownership of material and questions you submit. You give UniSimpler a limited permission to process that material only to provide, secure, and improve the requested service. You confirm that you have the right to upload it and that processing it will not violate another person's rights, confidentiality, university rules, or law.

Generated output is provided for your personal study use. Rights in uploaded lecture material remain with its original owner, and using UniSimpler does not give you permission to redistribute copyrighted slides, books, recordings, or examinations.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use UniSimpler to:

• break the law or another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights;
• upload malware, harmful code, or content intended to attack the service;
• bypass security, access limits, rate limits, or account protections;
• scrape, resell, or overload the service without written permission;
• impersonate others, harass people, or generate deceptive material;
• cheat on a live, restricted, or graded assessment in violation of your institution's academic-integrity rules; or
• use output as a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or safety advice.

6. Availability, limits, and changes

The service is currently offered without a paid subscription, but usage limits, supported formats, features, and availability may change. We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, control abuse or cost, comply with law, or maintain the service. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access, permanent storage, or compatibility with every file.

Keep your own copy of important study material and exported study packs.

7. UniSimpler property

The UniSimpler name, logo, interface, software, original design, and service materials belong to UniSimpler or its licensors. These Terms do not permit you to copy the service, remove branding, or use its marks in a way that suggests endorsement.

8. Third-party services

UniSimpler depends on services supplied by companies such as Google, OpenAI, and Cloudflare. Their services and sign-in flows may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UniSimpler is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UniSimpler and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost- opportunity damages arising from use of the service, reliance on AI output, lost study data, or inability to access the service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Ending access

You may stop using UniSimpler at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations, security threats, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that logically continue— including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—survive.

11. Applicable law and contact

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without overriding mandatory consumer or privacy protections that apply where you live. Any dispute will be handled by a court with proper legal jurisdiction.
